FINALLY! My Brembos are RED again! <3
So I sold my gigantic 19's and put on a set of stock Enkei's, that I picked up from Jaime (girl who had the Yellow Evo - "XXX Racing", but now has a GG Evo) <---- she is awesome and hooked me up since these wheels are MINT!
And while I was swapping out the wheels, I said to myself, "Self - you need to reclear these bad boys"... so I went inside, grabbed some newspaper, painters tape, 2000 grit sandpaper, Brakleen, shop towels, and high temp Clear Engine Enamel... and I went to town.
I admit, it's not my best work and up close in the sun it looks a little shotty... but they're RED and that's all that matters!!!!
For those of you who saw my brakes at MOD... I think we can agree this is a HUGE improvement!
Please, no comments on my rusty rotors... that is my next task... LOL

I feel your pain! mine were pink and peeling soooo bad. The crappy thing is my 06 only had 18,000 miles. I think you did a good job, rarely will someone stare at them up close anyways.
stinks you couldnt get them covered by brembo for their poor clear quality.

and Mitsu wouldn't warranty them at the time I went... then everyone else fought them on it cuz in order for it to not be covered, you would have had to modified something that had to do directly with the calipers (rotors, pads, etc)... they voided me for a BOV. their arguement was that by adding a BOV, I was making more power, and therefore breaking harder, and the heat caused them to peel. Then I tried fighting that, cuz we all know that's bull$hit, so they said I must have used the wrong cleaner on them, or didn't bleed the brakes properly (i never bled the brakes, and I had been using the same car wash soap on the wheels as I did the rest of my car)...
long story short, after everyone else was going to certain dealerships who replaced them, no questions asked, I was already over my mileage limit! BOO!
sooo, I was careful around the decals when I sanded them...
and with a little clear paint, I'm good now!
