It looks better chopped but how can you cut it and make a smoother lower surface?? I have removed my emblem on my IX and it definitely looks better, but maybe just get a BBY IX bumper? It would be better finished and I would bet lots cheaper... Unless the Blues do not match between VIIIs and IXs.

 

blues dont match at all and i dont like the holes on the 9 bumper
as for the how to, you have to do alot of sanding lol

Chop it off and then put the Mitsu diamond on the grill. I havent seen it in person but from pictures sometimes it looks like there is too much grill area between both headlights. That is why I suggest putting on the Mitsu sign just like how the IX's have it.

om nom nom nom nom that last pic was super nice! i love your car man its been in a couple threads. if you can keep it clean do the without and i definatly agreee with the holeless front bumper on the 8 rather than doing a 9 "conversion".
