We have a vinyl sticker cutter so we cut some circles that would cover the holes. Found a vinyl that was close to GG.

Good idea with the vinyl hole covers. It's probably a good idea not to completely fill them in anyways in case you or the next owner wants the wing back on. Wingless EVO's look like guilty dogs with the tail curled between their legs, IMO (not sure why). The wing completes the aggressive look.

Where did you find that vinyl? I have always just used black.

AND, I put the wing back on for track days.

Not sure, we buy it from a wholesaler. The guy that buys it is on vacation now, but I'll ask him when he gets back.

I would be interested in the details on this as well. I have the exact same car with the wing removed and I just can't bring myself to put black stickers over the holes.
