BR makes a carbon fiber cover for that inlet where the turbo sits. It comes with their forward facing kit, but im sure you could buy just it alone. That would solve some of the problems stated

 

There's a thread on here somewhere that I saw where a guy fabbed up his own custom manifold so he could fit a BR air filter over it and it looks badass even with the air filter on it! When I go 35R I'll definitely be doing a forward facing kit but it'll be with a filter over it because I want my car to remain a street car.

 

UNFORTUNATLY, senior buschur has stated that he wont sell just that plate, so im just gonna have to fab my own up

 

this car is nasty! If i didnt drive in the rain so much i would consider it!

actual Do-Luck, thats been beat to hell and is most likely to come off soon to either be fixed up and resprayed white or taken off and replaced with a rexpeed one. not sure yet so i guess we shall see
