Thanks everyone! I''m not gonna lkie, I do miss the power my 8 had, but for what I got offered at the time, and taking I have wanted a X for a while, I had to make the move.
As for how it compares, well it would not be fair to compare it modded vs stock..except in the handling department, the X straight owns the 8. But seeing I started from scratch with the 8, I can compare the two fairly. And although the X is clearly heavier, it is a completely different animal. Like I already said, the handling there is no comparison, but the power, well I would have to say the X, although heavier, def holds its own. It's more like one of those, you really don't know how fast you are going til you look at the speedometer.
What I can't wait for, is the next 700 something miles to be broken in, so I can really see what this thing has.
Oh and lastly, EvoDave, got and ideas for the lights
? We already saw what your work did on my 8..lol

Looking good Bill! I love the headlights, did you open them up, or is that a overlay? If you dont mind me asking did you have your wheels powder coated? I picked up a set of X wheels for my IX awhile ago and I'm looking to have them done in black this winter but want to find a good place.
