yes because its an 8 mr rs..

jdm rs versions are designed for rally, race car.. the teams/people that get them just strip them anyway and put all there parts on them, obviously they are guna replace wheels, steelies are just throwaways and they are guna do alot better then factory brembos..
we get alot of jdm rs versions here in nz

No! JDM MR RS still has Brembos and it is way lighter. US RS models are still pig heavy. US models are the only ones different from what other countries gets. Others gets wings, no Recaro seats and steel rims. An RS is supposed to be a ready to race car and since Mitsubishi knows that the seats and rims will definitely be changed, they just threw in the garden seats and cheap 15" steal rims. Ever since the Evo 4 RS came out, the RS models had always been like that. It is only US that got a different thing. I still prefer what we got.

US Evo RS had Enkei rims and Recaro seats but no wing. Still defeats the real RS essence.
