Yeah, that's what we all were saying here as well.... haha! When our body shop praised its quality, they said the same thing as well... =)

I don't think rain would put enough water down on it to cause an electrical short, but as you can see in some of our gallery pics, water can get in places that you normally wouldn't find water with the factory hood in place.
However, if you're running a track event or something like that, having this hood can be a big help with underhood heat evacuation.

a bit too much "going on" for my taste, but nice to see aftermarket action

are the inner fender liners screwed on the kit? Or is it just floating unattached?

Its like the VII and VIII ( awesome) with a little bit of rice-factor ( ). I like the hood very much , but I think the bumper has too much "lip" on the sides. Would the vent close to the battery get the battery wet?

Thanks for the very detailed install. I'm sure you will get business from your hard work, aside from praises from the EVO community.

Looks like it came preprinted white or is it just the fiberglass color?

Do you have any pics of the underbody after the bumper installation?

The fiberglass gelcoat is white. It's not "preprinted" (you probably meant prepainted =) ). I'll post up pics today with the under tray in. We were going to do it all at the same time while the XS intercooler was installed.
