ATTENTION!!!!!!

Guys listen. If you want to upgrade your lowbeams to a brighter bulb. DONT. because you CANT! Our stock bulbs are are bright at they get! Any higher kelvin will just change the color of the light and drop the brightness. If you want a blueish white color get a 6000k bulb, if u want violet lights get a 7000k. And if u want STRONG blue get 7500k. Anything over that is either fake or garbage.
Like i said, anything over 5200k gets darker.

if u want a great site for this stuff go to www.misterjung.com thats where i got my lights from when i had a matrix. VERY VERY good prices and high quality. the bulbs u use and the ballast is VERY important. Misterjung uses Hella ballasts which are prettymuch the best and he uses high quality bulbs as well. If its for ur evo u only need the bulbs.

I dont buys this gimmic. My evo came with HID stock. Also the lights are obviously blue with no yellow in it at all. They look blue even from the drivers seat when the lights shine on the street.

First off we are not talking about HID kits but rather bulbs for cars already with HID. But Mr. Jung and his products dont sit well with most.

Mr. Jung offers junk products with a name brand ballast. He is notorious over at the BMW forums for poor quality, Chinese made bulbs and wiring. No respectable company on the planet sells HID bulbs higher than 6,000K. Take Philips or PIAA, there is a reason they dont sell bulbs over 6,000K - because light (lumens) is reduced to halogen levels.

If you do the research youll find your kelvin grades (or his) are way off. Blue is low 5,000's and purple is high 5,000's. Essentially he is also falsly advertising the product.

But dont take my word for it, go visit www.bimmerforums.com and search for Mr Jung. 9 times out of 10 it will be a negative experience. While you are at it try www.audiworld.com too and search for his name - many, many pissed of customers. Buyer beware.

Carphoto, yes HIDs come stock, but there are various Kelvin grades out there, sounds like yours are bluer than most other owners, mine are white/yellow. Blue looks the best IMO so your lucky in that you have those ones!

Mr. Jung concerns below, It seems there is a 50/50 split between happy and pissed off. Now thats not good enough IMO.

i owned a set of his hid lights and they worked just fine for me... He does have replacement bulbs for our OEM light setup. Ill take a look at the bimmer forums and see what ur talkin about. My experience with his lights was a good one, though his customer service is sluggish.

ok there are too many others to post. But 9 out of 10 were POSITIVE so i dont know what the hell ur talking about. I will agree it is hard as hell to get in touch with his ***, but his products and prices are GREAT. I still say go with him!

I dont want to turn this into a discussion on for or against Mr. Jung because it could be argued to death with no outcome.

I just wanted to point out that there are unhappy customers and plenty of them.

Yep he is right anyhting over 6000 k will lower your output. Be ready to tear apart your front end to replace them however. Front bumper has to come off

Upgraded HID bulbs are the ****, A couple ppl in town have them and they make a huge difference. I used to have an s2000 and the HID were 2x better than the EVO's.

I dont know where everyone is talking about yellow HID's mine are stock and so are the 10 others in my area and they are all BLUE not yellow. Maybe you out to go back to the dealership and have them checked out.Or are you talking about your Fog Lights when you turn them on you did a little get of yellow hue from them.

So wattage is always the same, but Kelvin (temperature) increases with different bulbs. What about the intesity? Same wattage plus higher temps seems as if lower intesities will be the product.
I can't verify any of this right now, but I am starting to research it. Will have to freshen up on my physics w/electricity.

S2000 lights are amazing looking and are 5,100K which is blue and not just white with some blue in it, those things are blue!

All I keep hearing from the M3 guys is that the Advanced optic bulbs are the bomb. I have the H11's installed and they are sick too.

Mayhem, as Kelvin increases (in an HID bulb) lumens will decrease so you are correct. The color temp over 6,000K will reduce lumens noticeably and is not worth it IMO so stay clear of 7,000K stuff.

MYEVOIII my HID's are white as can be, blue from a few angles when I had watched my bro drive it which is due to the light optics of the headlight. Check the bulb, its 4,100K which is white as per the dealer info too.

I just sold a camera on ebay and now my paypal account is up there and I will order some of the 5.1 bulbs and post pics!
