I'm guessing now that the 4g63 is going in, you're going to make it AWD? or did you end up finishing that off previously?

FWD for now, untill next year. Money needs to be sunk into more areas of concern then AWD.

 

man i love when you guys do **** like this makes me want to get an old evo like a 6.5 TME. but i know ill just make a mess right now ill have to wait a couple of more years so that i can do this and have my own house to have parts laying in my garage.

 

Pulled the 6A I have a Evo 8 4g63 going in now.

 

all that and you still have the same crappy air filter? they tend to break up and the foam will get sucked into the engine. you can get replacment foam in yellow and grean on eBay for like 20 bucks.

going to stay stock for now sadly this car is my DD lucky for me I work 5 min from home so i dont need a car all the time.

little update.

engine is in its a USDM Evo 8 longblock with a mixture of Evo 4/8 accessories.




Car is far from done as you can tell bet its getting there, still need to fix the lip and repair the bumper and then install the remaining evo 5 body panels.

 

Is that a TT V6?

 

whats in it now is a evo 8 engine but yea there was a 2.5l TT v6 from a galant vr4 in it.
