Thanks man, guess I'll have to keep searching for another source to tap.

Hehe, I put mine up at the top instead. With the window tint, you can't see them hardly from the outside of the car. They've been there for about 2 weeks now. The radar detector is well out of site, too.
Hey there nice gauge setup, i really like that. What did you use to hold them up there? Double sided tape or what? Can you post a pic of what it looks like from say a bit farther back so i can get an idea of how much they are or are not in your view when driving? thanks,

mike

I think that largely depends on how tall you are. Since I am tall, I can not even use the sun visors, as they cut off my vision. I normally look out of most cars in the gradient tint region, right where those gauges are.

Thanks for the compliment. Hope this helps. I am 5'11'' and they do not bother me at all.

They mount with suction cups to the windshield and then with little metal arms that double-sided-tape to the back of the gauges.

Here are a couple of pictures to help you get the idea.

Showing the suction cups, the mounting arms, where the wires are ran, and how thin the gauges are.

Here is a good example of what I see as I glance up at the gauges. Just to show you what a 5'11'' guy sees. It isn't exactly that angle, but the gauges can pivot around and be mounted anywhere on the windshield (even at the very bottom so they are right there peaking over your dash...hint hint.

Actually a friend of mine made it. He took the original panel and made a mold out of that. From there he vacuum formed the fiberglass from the mold.

I like that install 90gsx... so what kind of gauges are those? It looks like it says "blitz"? Also you have a turbo pressure gage, what is the one on the right? What are the units for each respective gage? I'm curious I'm assuming the one on the left is bar? I don't know what the one on the right is for off the top of my head so i won't even ponder a guess. Nice setup

Boost on the left and fuel pressure on the right. I get to watch the needles both move at the same time, just like they should. IF the fuel pump starts to go or acts up, I'll see it and I know to get off the throttle before it gets too lean.

EGT gauge will be released in a few months, and I will get that one when it comes out and move the fuel pressure sensor over to the oil so that I can monitor boost, EGT, and oil pressure, the three most important features. For now, I have to use the fuel pressure as a good monitor since EGT is unavailable.

The boost gauge is in metric (bar, kpa, whatever) and the fuel pressure is in kpa.

They are made by Blitz and they are called Blitz DC gauges.

You can get them at Mach V.

Hope this helps.

www.machevo.com has them.

You guys tell Dan that I sent ya.

The mounts are $18 each and they can even hold other things like a piggyback computer (APEXi S-AFC), electronic boost gauge (like the HKS VPC 5 or the APEXi), turbo timer (like the Blitz FATT's or the Apexi skinny one).

I have always had great luck with Blitz, and with Mach V. I recommend both of them to you guys.
