^ profiling ftw

uneven tints don't look good but if you tin the front as dark as the back you get pulled all the time its a lose lose

i think the best overall tint is 20 in the back 35 in the front. 35% you can see pretty well at night. and it looks good

I can't stand uneven tint and think it looks like crap. I'd rather do 35% all around than 20% out back/35% up front.

mitsuevodriver - every state is different, did you not realize that? Just like moving violations differ from state to state. Also, differing counties and cities will even differ. If not by the written law, on how they enforce it. E.g. - I have never been given grief for no front license plate (law in WA state) but there is a city/county that is about 1 hour North where I witnessed a buddy pulled over for no front plate during a cruise.

Well in PA it's 70% (not much). Thats why I am asking if anything has that little to see what it might look like. However the chances of getting a ticket in your own State vs outside state is a lot higher. I'm not even sure thats enforceable since you would have to know all laws of every state which is impossible. Unlike speed limits which are posted for all, window tints are most likely enforceable by residents of that state only. Same for emissions, ensurance, registration. All states are different.

^Do you know how bad the police are in PA for ticketing dark tint? In my area they don't seem to care if you go darker than legal. I've gotten pulled over many times with darker than legal tint and never so much as a mention about it.

Well the point is that yes, there are tons of cars running around with way darker than legal tint. However I'm not looking to call the man into my life just for tint.

Well that is a risk you will have to take, cause 70% is useless..

As compared to 100% (im not sure what stock is)? I'm not sure I'd call it useless. I'd just like to see what it looks like cause I'm getting it done next Saturday.
