Winterizing

Here is how I am planning on Winterizing my EVO:

Step 1: Open garage door

Step 2: Pull into heated garage

Step 3: Close garage door

Thats why I have two cars.

I think the rivets in the lip actually kinda look sick. I just did my winter mode too. Stock enkeis with blizzaks. I dont really like driving on the blizzaks though. The car sometimes feels unstable, and feels like its floating. And rain traction with them is horrible. I can floor it in 3rd gear, and it will get sideways. Crazy!

^^^ +1 on the heated garage. Winter mode for me is putting the stock wheels back on so I dont get any flat spots on my good tires then taking it apart for new goodies.

I'd say take the wing off for the winter also. Much easier to clean the snow off the back window and one less thing for snow and ice to gather on. I hate the snow

jackass...that's funny.

Used to live in MA then NH snow was horrendous. Snow/salt "storms" up there will **** up your mirrors/bumper...the whole car if you don't have winter tires on...and finally...what no wreck could do...it will eat your wing. So take off the wing too
Going with stock enkeis and Hakkapalliita's for the "winter" here in OH. If there is any...short sleeves and shorts today though 74degrees

P.S. washed my car every couple days or so in the touch free washes resulting in still showroom quality when summer time rolls about. It's a 2003 and I STILL get people asking me what kind of car it is and if it's new...shocked when I tell em it's 7 years old.

for winter rims i like them i would take the wing off though, i agree with the other people it will become a hassle. my winter mode consists of this:

the winters get really bad in syracuse so i kept my old clunker around so i dont destroy my Ralliart

Looks good! I could live with that winter mode. And take the wing off for the winter.
