The lip works but a carbon lip would have been sooo much better...you can always change it in the future. I can't hate on the car just for that cuz you have some many other tasteful mods.

Anyway still curious if you took off the rear bumper support or modded it for the JDM rear. I want one myself.

Not really digging the lip though. EIther way, keep up the good work. I wanted some CCW's, but I've had some things come up where I couldn't buy them when I wanted to.

My original plan was to go with a Deck Mechanical lip and use the Home Depot lip to drive on daily but after seeing how close the HD lip is to the ground I think I'm going to stick with it.

I personally am not a fan of any of the lips on the market for evo IX's I think they are all over done. I like the simplicity of my HD lip and the fact that I can replace it whenever I want I'm sure if I never mentioned it was from HD the responses would be different.. But to each his own I'm not going for a cookie cutter evo

 

^^ you could order up a FQ360 lip/ or rexpeed CF SE lip...or order the SE lip from Mitsu and have it paint matched ^^

both of which look pretty damn good!

 

None of which i like. The only aftermarket lip offered for evos that i would be interested in is unfortunately only made for VIII's. If there were a Doluck style lip ever made for the IX, i'd be all over it.
