Tell me the truth...

Hey evom, looking at some options for next summer for rim setup and I need some help. I have rims from my eclipse that people loved..the only kicker, they are wrapped with 225 wide rubber. My kinda goal was to be in the 255 with about a 9.5-10" wide rim. What do you think I should do, I will not be running my car at any race events next year so the grip traction isn't suuuuuper crucial (unless you count yealds in 4th gear crucial) If i spacer the old rims out for a more agressive stance it may help as welland i'm planning on powder coating them a deep metalic purple (night=black). Heres a photochop of what the car would look like with the rims i currently have..

its those then i get so spend my money elseware (lip JDM rear intercooler....) or i sell those and pick up some wide rotas and keep body where she stands now.

ORRRRRRRRRRRR paint stockers black like everry other RR evo.

As you can tell i'm in a pickle on what to do so i thought i'd come to the evo gods for a lil' halp.

Thanks in advance!!

sorry i think there was some confusing things going on..

Aftermarket rims-225/40/18
Stock Rims-245/40/17 blizzaks

Maybe like to run 9.5(+22) 245's...

so its either a bunch of smaller stuff or rims and rubbers

Sell the rims and get a 18x9 or 18x9.5 wheel with a 245 or 255 tire!

If grip isn't cruial then what is... looks? If that's the case, that's fine, not everybody wants to race. But this thing is, 225 will NOT look good. What size are the wheels? Depending on width and offset I'm sure you could atleast put on some stock sized tires, maybe even 245's.

I'd sell them and get some 9.5" wheels and run 265's. Thats what I want to do. I have 8.5" with 255's now.
