The street edition front bumper price isnt too bad in my opinion. It definitely was not 2G's. I got mine without the canards for now which does make it less expensive. I like the way it looks and Driveline was able to get me one quickly for a good price. It also allows me the option of swapping the Cyber Edition lip later on if I want to track it more. Overall money well spent for me, but there are other good looking less expensive options.

How can you afford to buy an evo? There are many people who are below status of purchasing an evo.

Its a hobby and a lifestyle. Some want a cool car. Some want the parts.

The lifestyle is where you HAVE to have these parts. The hobby is when you just want something.

It is not a question of how you can afford something its the fact can you mentaly let yourself purchase something that in your head is not worth the face value.

Like spending 200$ on an oil cap.

well that price is not that bad. I was just looking at the website and thats where i got the price for it. Trust me i can afford my evo but sometimes i just wonder why some people spend the money on certain things. I mean if you have a purpose behind it than its a good enough excuse to get it. If i was to get the kit it would just be fore looks because i have never done any auto-x or time attack so it serves no real purpose for me. My hats off to those that have voltex. Very sexy kit and hats off to driveline for having excellent prices. Sorry to threadjack driveline. bump it up bump bump bump

IMO Voltex is the best looking body kit for the Evo 8/9. All their body stuff is also aerodynamic. Although I drag race my Evo and I have Voltex sideskirts & Voltex rear diffuser. I got them cause it makes the Evo look really awesome regardless of just street, track/autox or drag use.

I'd also recommend having some brackets built to support the bumper. I only used the 4 stock bolts (top center and by the front wheels) as was recommended and I've got cracking in the corner where the bumper runs under the front tip (on the bottom) of the headlights.

Won't be able to install my canards until I get something figured out for extra support.

To chime in on the original post, you can't use the stock crash beam but don't need to make any other modifications to get it to fit on. But beware.
