Sorry my trunk pics you can't really see the CF haha. In dark lighting that's what I really like about it, can't even really notice it. I'm not a fan of dark tint in general since CA doesn't let you tint the front windows.

No, not yet - only have had it for about 6 months now. Planning on doing a wide body kit of some sort and spraying the car a mat black so will add on a stronger clear coat then.

Other cars in the Seattle area that I know with CF hoods have seen a few years of duty before it starts discoloring.

Has anyone on here had issues with the trunk latch/hook alignment after a while where it gets tougher to get the trunk to close properly??

 

This really makes me want carbonfiber hood and trunk....

 

nope lol i had to modify my latch to get my trunk to close properly with the viz lightweight cf trunk also had to redrill holes in the bars that hold the trunk on the car longer but other then that flawless
