i would get JDM heads and amber side markers some wider tires JDM rear and a carbon fiber trunk lip and bring up the drop just a bit

 

isnt the only difference (for the ix's anyway) for jdm headlight is that the amber is on the bottom and not the top?

kind of what i was expecting. tires for sure, maybe spacers. i like it wingless so that wont change. jdm rear if i can get my hands on one locally, AND new head lights

stupid thing is, i had a set of nice 255/35/18 tires. got lazy and sold them instead.

 

15mm Spacers for sure, and the red badge up front is what really throws off the car for me.

 

since most evo's are modified, customized, etc., a stock evo IX MR SE or IX SE(for your case) is a think of beauty!

 

and by paint, i'm sure you'll go about it by powder coating, correct?

also, as the other guy say, the wider version on the ce28's with the +28 offset would look great. also with some wider tires as you said.

i was going to ask if those were evo 8 headlights. get rid of them!

nope, i wanna get some wrinkle spray paint and do all the wheels with that finish and then get some dark blue spray paint and slap some of that on there.

yes powder coating is the way id go. i think i found the hex code for the color to match, found the authentic stickers so you never know...

haha i made the same change from bby 8 to gg ix. the consensus is correct. go with jdm bumper and blacked out headlights made the difference for me. balances the car color i think.

 

I vote-- at the minimum-- black wheels (cosmic blue wouldn't fit with the clean look it has now), spacers, black emblem, & raise it a bit.

If you don't wanna drop the dough on a JDM bumper, I'd say just black out the rear side markers.

Maybe I say all this because I have a GG IX MR SE and those are pretty much my exact plans which are already in motion.

 

Wheel color and ****ty offset. It would look good with spacers and a diff color wheel.

 

To be Honest with you the width of the Wheel and Offset in No Good for the Evo IMO. At least 9 wide with a lower offset would make the car pop a little better. I'm also not crazy about the front Emblem it will look cleaner black or not there. Best of Luck with it.
