New to Evo Community! 05 Apex Silver Evo8 Here
My name is Anatoliy, but everyone has called me Toad for years. Already owned a 2005 Orange Blast SRT-4 (50 trim, Meth, etc) which puts down about 410whp/400wtq currently.
This weekend I purchased this 2005 Apex Silver Evo 8 with 70k on the clock, from a dealership in Tucson, AZ for $16,900. The dealership took the car in on a trade, and was going to auction it off. I had an inside scoop from one of the employees that they had a mint Evo8 in the back, and they would be willing to sell it for $16,900 so I jumped all over it.
The car was purchased so that I can have another project, and my gf have a DD to school/errands.
It had a few mods done by the previous owner: Injen Intake/UICP/LICP, HKS 272/264 cams, HKS HiPower Exhaust, HKS Ground Kit, Hallman BC, Blitz SBC-ID (to monitor boost/not hooked up for boost controll), Greddy RS BOV, Tein Coilovers, Evo 9 Tails/Wheels...think that's all for now.
Have very big plans for this car including FP Green + all supporting mods.
Can't wait to be a part of this community!

I wasn't either, and for a while I had it unrolled. With the MPx exhaust, the rolled bumper looks amazing from the back. All you see is the even split in the exhaust, and it looks like teh sex IMO.

I am good friends with George who sold you the car. I checked it out for him and drove it the day before you bought it. Did you fix the clutch yet? If not PM me.
Also the car has the Evo 8 head-gasket oil leak that should be done. But good news is you have a new timing belt. BTW the car has 2 boost controllers on it.
