Yes, the 40 series will look good. Always thought the 35 series were just too thin looking for the street

+1 on the 245/40s.. these are 18x8.5s, taller tire is better.. Oddly enough, lots of folks run the 245/40 on 9.5s too. Section widths differ by almost an 1 inch between the 265/35 (what I would prefer to run) and the 245/40 on the PSSs.

Joe, I couldn't stay away from the CEs.. picked up the 28RTs 18x9.5 +24s that were for sale here on the forum and plan to run 265s after getting them powder coated. I will post it on the tire wheel thread and here eventually once I get the car back together again. The 17s will have to wait til next year. But def wanna do some 275/40s with them.

I really want to run a 17x9 +22 te37 next. Bronze flavor. Those 9.5 +24s sound like the hotness.

Love the simplicity of RSs. No wings. I am bit biased. I know most folks love wings.

I'm with Astro Train, I like the wingless look personally. Makes the car look more sleek. Tbh I like the wingless look on all year, past and present Lancers & Evos.

When i first bought the RS 10 years ago, i too was anti-wing. I ended up buying a 2nd trunk & an EvO wing. The wing gives the EvO a whole new look & really matches the lines well ( l now really like the wing). Unfortunately I broke the stock wing at track & have converted over to the APR wing. Still have my WW wingless trunk in garage

First and hopefully one of the few times this car sees rain.

Its crazy how many small differences there are between the RS and 8/9 gsr models (my previous evos). Makes me chuckle. Like no map lights and the simple windshield wiper speeds.
