Sorry I think I might need those lol. It should be ready by next weekend. Just waiting on the turbo and exhaust manifold to come back. I'm also waiting on some misc. Hardware and gaskets. I still may order the FIC injector seal kit too

 

You dont need them... Dont worry! Lol

 

You would like them too since I installed an aftermarket HID kit. Way better visiblity lol

 

Can you guys post some pics of your front lips, and what brand you have along with how the fitment was. And most of you guys with the JDM rear bumpers did you modify the stock crash bar or buy a aftermarket one? How much do you have to modify the stock crash bar, is it difficult to install the jdm bumper with all that? And where did you guys order yours, how much did you pay? Im already getting a pretty big list of things that i want for this car haha.

But to Minusprevious Thanks! Yeah those rims had to go for sure haha, it looks much better with the factory rims on it. Ill get some new pics up soon, and yeah it is really a super clean car. Its a really fun car, its got some nice mods already but i have some ideas still! oh and whats the difference between the RS and the GSR? will it come up as a gsr on the title even? Mine has power windows, from the factory, im not sure if it came with a stero because theres a aftermarket one in the car, and the previous owner added the wing. On the title it comes up as a RS.

 

^ I eliminated my crash beam but if u want to modify it you have to cut/ reweld so it dont stick out so far. Just buy a nice aftermarket one on ebay or sumthing. Changing bumpers will take some times since you have to re rivit it.

 

The visual clues as I know them are: No rear wiper / black door handles & mirrors/ trunk interior delete/ factory 3 gauge pod. The real clue for me was to ensure the roof was aluminum (Year 05 & up I think) (Any worthy RS owner has checked w/a magnet)

Update looks major. I spy some intake & exhaust work. What are the details on your move up?

i'm going with a ported BBK Full
PPI extreme ported exhaust manifold
3" megan DP with header wrap sprayed with sealant
1000cc PTE injectors
o2 housing, and Perrin intake tube with Amsoil Filter.
T-bolt clamp kit

i was going to get the intake manifold ported and get the 65mm TB but i decided to stick with the stock stuff and just upgrade the shaft seals. if i am going to remove the intake manifold and get a 65mm TB might as well go with a good aftermarket unit. i have been considering a MAP Rev2 manifold but i will have to save alittle for that combo. i'll probably be looking into upgrading the UICP as well. plus it will give me something to do later as well.

the 3rd picture from the top on post #495 it looks like your bumper is molded into your quarter panel I can't even see a line or anything holy crap

 

And Alan wishes his red RS was my white IX RS. My 04 RS actually has 174 miles on it right now. It could have high 190's after I dyno and test the next trunkfull of parts. My IX RS has 222 miles, but its been on my dyno about 7 different trips vs the 04 of maybe 4 times. Slated to go back on with a 6262, new intake and TB here this fall.

Both of the RS came from the dealer in CA with 5 miles on them off the truck, trailered them home.
