I just read every page of this thread. Pretty awesome. I need to get pictures up of mine some day. Its bone stock anyways.. 
So, what do y'all think of the Evo 8 front end vs. the Evo 9 front end? I would like to switch out to the IX front end and JDM rear. But, I was wondering what the overall consensus is.

An 8 front end with the nose chopped and carbon fiber lip looks amazing! I like the ix nose too. I guess either way you cant go wrong. But if I were to change I would do the nose chopped 8
u keep changing your post.. lol.. if u have another question, just add a question... nobody converted a RS to a GSR.... if your referring to me about adding power windows (up front) and power mirrors, then you couldnt be more wrong... i added a few things that i feel i need, to comfortably daily drive my car... and a few interior pieces that i feel make the interior a little nicer! BUT, i still have the aluminum roof, no ABS, manual rear windows, no sound deadening material, no rear wiper, etc.... adding a few things to an RS doesnt make it a "GSR conversion" lmao

handle swap
Has anyone swapped their door handles and mirrors? I just purchased some Wicked White door handles and mirrors and I have a weightless white evo. Just trying to get ahead of the game and see if the paint difference is noticeable and if its a pain to swap out door handles.

I am not a true RS purest, (Im running a wing on a second trunk. My RS trunk is tucked away) but changing the door handle color really takes away from one of the tell tale RS identifiers.

^^^ not to mention the door handles take alot of abuse and the color tends to fade quicker (especially on rr ones... you have a red car w/ pink door handles).... unpainted black is the way to go
