yea i recalla thread about this where the guy plastic welded parts, then laid fiberglass underneath and smoothed out up top. came out great

good job rawburt, looks better this way, also paint the grill black and do something about that tow hook.

Thanks, these grilles chip so easy. I think I'm going to try some of the rubber bedliner stuff.

This is a picture of my buddies evo 8 that had this done the proper way and doesn't have a gap on the upper suport.

Also he even has a evo 9 Grille to make it look legit

Really though, what does it matter, it gets bolted to the core support and cant even be seen.

i gotta pick up an 8 bumper soon and start this...lol i am getting very jealous of what im seeing. ive always liked the 8 bumper with the "do-luck" style lip. lol
