double post FML

 

on a side note, clean looking car and great bar. how do you like the feel of the autopower bar and how is visibility with it in? looking to get one myself. wonder how much work it is to bend the seats...thinking cutting the wire and bending, but if you bought it used im assuming you didnt put it in yourself? like jjm said research research research. so much to learn. have fun and be safe!

 

I am not saying you all are haters. Just those who sit there on their computers at home bashin others evos or what they know about evos or even there spelling and grammer! haha those people need to get out more often! Its called *****, try it some time!

 

The outside of the car looks great. I like the front lip. The interior looks great. I like the cage and trunk, etc. I guess you've figured out that it's not an MR, but that's ok. I've never regretted NOT buying an MR. Nice car bro.

 

Don't get mad because you don't know what you're driving. It's a forum. For information. You drive a 05 Evo VIII GSR w/SSL.

 

it's an GSR w/ SSL good car take care of it have fun. and learn everything you can there's soooooo much info here about the evo that really you can't go wrong...learn learn learn!

no big deal sometimes here it can feel like ur jumping into a shark tank. but either way, like i said there's so much you can learn here just by searching. the evo really is an incredible machine i'll tell you that much. I've learned a lot about it in the last year i'm sure you can do the same. how many miles are on it?

 

Yea it does feel like jumpin in a shark tank but it doesnt faze me. I appreciate the understanding. and yes i agree these cars seam very bad ***. Its a lot different from rwd muscle cars that im used to driving. All wheel drive boosted seams more fun! Better control by far. Right now i have 33,000 miles on the body and about 12,000 miles since i got the motor built.

 

and yes i got the motor built. dont know much bout evos but i got the motor built. cause when i bought the car with the GT35R already on it the shop i took it to said the motor wouldnt last that long unless the bottom end was completely rebuilt.

well safely on the stock bottom end i know mellon stops at about 435WTQ. AWD is way more fun than RWD. what all was done to the block?

The receipt says Race Spec Engine: New Rods, Pistons, Oil Pump, OEM Gasket Set, Head Porting w/ O-Ring?? AEM EMS w/ MAP Sensor, Temp Sensor, and tuning. Exedy Triple Disc Carbon Clutch Kit Installed. Once again not sure what all that means but maybe someone can educate me?? Now for some of you, we dont need to be smart *** im just asking. I know what the clutch is obviously and a lil bout the AEM, but the rest im lost!!

 

and when i try to talk to the guys where i get the work done, they seam like they are talking jibberish because they know a whole lot about evos and i dont!
