I did not, i put a razor blade along the un-rolled lip on the fender and cut away about 1/4" section just so i could roll the fenders.

Do you have any pics of the inner fender(where you rolled) i just installed my Grids 18 x 9.5 with a 245/40/18 and rolled the back and it still rubs. so i guess i didnt roll enough. Im not as low as you either.

Please show some pics of the fender so i know how much more to roll.

you need to roll them so they are touching, you cant leave them in a "U" or like a "V" form, it has to be completely touching, all the way closed.

in step 3:
Step 3: Within that 6" area, lift up on the handle of the bat, making the lip start to go up.
do you mean lift up the whole bat, instead of using it like a lever, like in step 5?

Lower, Lower; Yes, Yes!!! If it weren't for the cheesy factor, i'd have hydraulics on mine and be scratching floors 24/7.

well that explains my rubbing problem. I left a "U" shape for my fenders. I thought the metal would crack if i was to totally fold it in to touch. i guess ill be busy with the bat this weekend.
