$30,000 is not a lot, after the work it has been put into that car. I bet you the carbon fiber doors alon cost $5k or more.

it's just been stripped of it's interior. i think the front wing is for downforce purpose rather than looking good
I have some doubt that's all. I don't think it's a time attack monster. Just because it's got things done to it doesn't mean it was all done well and to be track ready. I have seen plenty of cars that have never seen the track over the years that have all these mods. They're just show cars.
Personally that front end probably causes so much drag it doesn't make up for in downforce (or looks). If you are going to go through that much trouble for time attack, you'll put in weld in cage instead of showy c/f doors and a bolted on cage that doesn't do much. The harness would be hacked up. Plus the whole car is too clean. Looks like he drove it to and from a shop and local car hang out spot then his CC bill came in.

Also, you wouldn't do the "single wiper conversion".

Then again, I could be wrong and it came in top 3 during some event. I just don't think it ever did.

if you scroll down, youll see it was made for time attack

for the lazy:
Although it didn't run, the stripped-out time-attack Evo 6 built by Bozz Speed was attracting a lot of attention. Hisada-san told us that he built the car for a customer and will be returning to Tsukuba this week to set it up and put down some times. His Evo 9 (next to the Evo 6) did a good job of going under the 1-minute barrier recording a 59"787 lap, again a street tuned car.

heres another example of a time attack car with additional frontal downforce

you probably need to spent quite some money on rebuilding some stuff there
what has age got to do with it? it's a fresh built car. my makinen is 2000 registered and has still got only 26k miles from new it puts the majority of evo 8's and 9's to shame around where i live so age has nothing to do with it if it's looked after. i'd rather buy a well minded 6 than a ragged to death 8 wouldn't you?.

anyway for the rest it is a Bozz speed built car and is 620-650 bhp, supposedly it has raced in the US
