I have had two of those hoods and I would steer clear.
reason being is the hood vents right over the motor are not very big and are also blocked by a thicker mesh than a stock one. What this does it hold in heat longer. The heat coming off your manifold gets transferred onto your hood through I think convection and then it stays much hotter under the hood.
Also if you go to wash your case somewhere after you have been driving for a while the hood will crack due to the cold water being put onto the hood when it is still hot.
I had Vivid replace my hood under warranty (90 days on all the hoods) because it cracked like that. I am on my third Seibon hood and now moved the OEM one and not had it crack at all.
