Powder Coated my BBS Wheels

The guys at the shop told me that at about 500F the wheel will begin to change molecularly and weaken. but most powder coating is done around 275-400F so this is not an issue.
I don't get it you powder coated diamond black SE rims to look like regular MR rims? You probably could have just gotten someone to trade and pay you extra money in the process those diamond black wheels are rare!

I think you should have gone with an even darker hue. judging from the pictures, they look too much like the MR BBS wheels.
btw, what temp did u powdercoat the wheels at? when i got my wheels coated, i asked for a low temp bake so as to not compromise the wheel strength of the forged BBS wheels.

Powdercoating wheels at 300 degrees does not allow the powder to fully cure and therefore negates the benefit of powdercoating. You might as well have just gone with regular paint.

Custome Gunmettle BBS wheels
Here is the wheels mounted up with some Falken tires and installed, Hope u like. The wheels are darker than the factory BBS wheels and they look more like the dark gray Evo Color but a couple shades darker.
