They do take awhile to do, but the end result is worth it. However my evo never comes out as clean as those above.

I lack something we call... patience. Plus not really sure what products to use or if it even matters. I tried turtle wax and meguiars and both really haven't made much of a difference. All I could notice was the feel really and seen a few tough spots come out. It looks like the cars above don't have nearly as much as the fine scratches as I have from the car wash brushes. I'm trying to get rid of those little scratches, anyone have any suggestions? Sorry for the thread jack as well.

Clay bar'ing is definantly great for the prep. But ONLY the begining as it generally mares the paint. Which then needs polishing with a buffer. Its definantly a workout especially to the finger tips haha

honestly i dont find clay-baring all that bad, i wash my car with some dish soap first to get all the **** off , gets all the old wax off an the tire shine that spits up, as well as grease, then i clay-bar it with meguiars clay bar and quick detail (i use one of the smaller bottles everytime i clay-bar) then i finsh it off with a good coat of mothers wax and that gets rid of most of the fine scratches, and it only takes me maybe 2 hours if i aint running around looking for **** ya know
