Terrible comparison. FYI There are equal and higher end watches than rolex if you didnt know. So is rolex a wanna be of something else? So many people hate on these wheels because they have nothing better to do and maybe it makes them feel better about spending double to triple of what rota owners spend for the same look.

Forged wheels are better we all know this, but if you look through this site there are time attack cars running rotas with NO ISSUES. I will defend these wheels as long as people diss them. Not only do I actually own a set, it just goes hand in hand. Someone shouldnt be afraid of the quality of rota wheels because of posts like this. Its like arguing about the color of the sky.

How would you feel if you lost a race to a car with rotas? Im sure theres something on your evo that isnt prestigeful aside from your wheels. Or are you all around top of the line and perfectly modded? Post up your car so we can find your cheapened areal.

Why should he spend 3K on rims that will see the road on a daily basis? Maybe he would rather spend that 3K where it counts, on the engine.

Your car looks really nice and the rims look very familiar, good to hear you like them.

hey guys, finally got the car lowered! Still a ways away from completion though. still got to get an alignment and throw a bit more negative camber on the fronts and back to drop it a bit more. my first attempt i SLAMMED the car and rubbed the back wheel wells like crazy! needless to say i am for sure gonna need more fender rolling and neg camber to ever have it as low as i had. but honestly i like the way it sits now, love the aggressive stance. a lot of people says it looks stupid but i love it and that's all that counts

what do you all think??

Im guessing you arent into performance. More aesthetics.

I think they turned out pretty good in the end

Rota's get knocked because they are replica's.

They are quality but they have a stigma attached. I have no issues with Rotas (I've had 3 different sets) but I take issue with people who rock them and play it off like the real thing.

I understand why people who do spend the money to get the real deal get annoyed by Rotas......but if you don't like them then just skip the post.

Coming in here to hate on Rota's deliberate is petty and childish. Conversely rocking Rota's like they are Volks is stupid and poseurish.

I like the high dollar **** and I like the Rota's. There is room for all. They make a quality wheel esp for the money. And tell Ray's to start making the TE-37 with a fuggin +20 offset. When a knock off looks better then the wheel they copied its kinda sad.

Oh and just because its not forged doesn't mean crap. Advan's, Wed's, SSR's and even some Volks are cast.

Another Rota man. Looking real good man. Love it a lot better that it's lowered. Im in the same game with people hating Rotas because I just bought a pair but they can go play in traffic...lol

Again, love how it sits. Did a great job.

If I missed it what was the offset? Did you have to do any other modifying other then rolled and dave fenders?

thanks man its a +20 offset, 18 x 9.5. as for mods go my rears are about halfway rolled and my fronts just have the evo dave fender mod, no roll or pull. I occasionally will rub in the back if i go over a bump with people in the back seats, and occasionally in the front if i hit a real big bump like a pot hole or something haha

for the most part don't rub at all so that's good. I also have quite a bit of negative camber to help fit the wheels a bit. i forget how much exactly but its about -1.5 or -2 all around. fit pretty good for such a wide rims, love the look of em though Also i have 255 size tires so that adds a bit to the rubbing, if i got 245's i probably wouldn't have that issue but i really didn't want to stretch the tires that much.
