Good luck with it, should be quite the chore. It will pay off in the end though. Let us know if you need any assistance.

when you put so much money, sweat and blood into your car, if theres a possibility to fix it you would rather do that then starting new again.

I don't think I would. Money is money and a car is still a car. I love my car, but it can be replaced.

Spend half the cash in half the time and be back on the road twice as fast.

Give up on her.

Good luck either way.

Also, pretty dramatic stuff. Not sure it fits. It looks like it is going to be a great project, and the story of the rebuild could an interesting one. I just don't necessarily believe you need to take an emotional angle. Also, the dramatic effect you are going for is negated by the improper use of grammar in the clip. I strongly suggest you consider fixing the text from "your" to "you're." With regards to the text overlay.

Thank goodness people don't follow your train of though when restoring old cars. We'd live in a very boring world

Subscribed! I know how you feel. I had a 91 GSX that I built from the ground up - bought THE CLEANEST shell you would find - built the motor by hand spent many nights sleepless in the garage ironing out the kinks all DSMs have. Sunk probably $12k into a car not worth more than $3k blue book. But it was exactly what I wanted, hand picking each and every component. I finally get the car running the way I want, take it to a Mitsu dealer for inspection/emissions and I receive a call the next day the car was broken into in their lot, pretty much every performance part stolen off of her. Insurance gave me $1500 for the car and nothing else. I was heartbroken and still am to this day. That was 6 months ago.

I defninitely feel your pain..Long live 4g63!
