How much time did it take you to modify the tail-lamp's to MR spec?

i have a lancer and i smoked my tails, but the evos have those red side markers on the bumper, i would smoke those also just to complete the look. just my .02, but the tails look great, i just think a darker tint would compliment them more by the way did you clear coat them? the nite shades i used faded after a couple of months until i did them over again and clear coated it.....good job though!

After looking at the pictures, it looked really dark. But after seeing them in person last night, it looks really good.

i've seen an evo 7 locally, i don't really care for the red on white, personally. i think that the stock ones have a little too much bling to them, for me that is. i like them smoked, the only reason i had them done this dark was to match the window tint and the carbon fiber. that way there's only 2 colors, i want to smoke the reflectors also, just don't know how well the black will cover the red. plus i think that would be illegel, not having a reflector on the rear, don't know though.
just my .02
