New here and finally got one!
thanks everyone and i gotta say that i'm really proud to be an evo owner! just to clear things up i'm not a 16 yr old joyrider. i'm almost 19, graduating high school in a week, and this is NOT my first stick shift. I know very well this is a powerful and light car, and i do not beat on her or drive fast. (i must admit that the day i picked her up i thought i was doin 60 but when i looked down the speedo it was at 90 which is something i really watch out for now haha) this is my dream car since 6th grade and i will not let ANYTHING happen to it.
I had mine backed into 3 times within the first year, 2 of which where my neighbors not looking when they backed up. I was furious to say the least. Sounds like you'll definitely take care of it, but remember in the end, it depends on the other drivers attention span. Anywho, how about some engine bay and interior pics?
My high school car was a Lancer ralliart and I am so glad I didnt' get an evo then. I traded up to an evo when I was 22. Bought and sold all 3 of my cars myself. I was one broke college kid working 3 jobs and spending my life savings on the lancer.. haha
Be responsible and aware. I've been in more accidents because of OTHER drivers than myself. I tell people its like riding a motorcycle, its not you you have to worry about its everyone around you. Looks like you've been taking good care of her so far. Might I suggest a graffiti backdrop for some photos is a nasty combo.
O and btw WW evos ftw.. haha

make sure you baby the clutch and take carreful care of the fluids you put in. its worth the investment.
Congrats on getting the new car. I know most people might bash you for having a Evo at such a young age but that was how old I was when I got my Evo. I was 18 and payed for the car myself. Take care of her though, I have seen to many kids from my town who have died from doing something stupid while driving.
i'll go out and snap a few interior/under hood pics soon. might even do a quick shoot with my buddy's canon d60
