Ic Ic Well that is not a cali thing either. ( I am born and raised here in San Francisco)

But yeah I just do not understand why defeat the purpose of WIDE rims by putting on tires smaller then the rims??????

Pro's
Personal own idea of looking good.!

Con's
Bad traction
Possible chance of tire deflating or coming off the rim bead> ( which would cause a accident)
Cant take corners super well/
Waste of $$$ money on a wider rim which is not put to use with wide tire.

I am not trying to talk S H I T

Just trying to figure out a logical reason for this.

the reasoning behind the stretched tyres is so the fit under stockish fenders. i didnt want to overly mess with the body work as its imaculate. im still running rear lips and still running the fender liner.

i have had Advan rs's on previously but there common as hell and doesnt stand out from everyother evo.


the reason ive done it is purely for the look and the individuality of it, how many evo's run ccw lm20 in this size 2 in the US i know of (probably a couple more not many tho)

how many evo's run ccw with in the uk none.

My evo is purely for my own enjoyment, its a show car through and through,

i dont see the actraction in buying and evo and then making it into a track car.

thats the beautiful thing about personal possessions there personal.

everything looks great but the tires. it looks dumb having stretched tires on a wide wheel and not fully slammed. wheel gap and stretched tires looks dumb. yes its harsh criticism but like i said everything else on the car looks great! im not a fan of stretched tires but i understand the style and reason if your trying to go for a really flush and slammed setup. but when you not slammed then you better be rocking some appropriate size tires. little stretch is acceptable, you dont need meaty tires.

Your car is f'n hott, but for the love of performance and handling, please get some wider tires. I expect to see stretched tires in Lowrider Euro magazines, but the Evo is a beast, and seeing some meaty tires underneath combined with the right wheel offset can't be beat! Anywho, overall the car is a knockout! Please don't take my criticism the wrong way.
