the jdm rear is suppose to come packaged with tow hook cover and riviets to install it. i would get it elsewhere i think for like 120 more you can get it from driveline with all those parts.

there you go thats what it looks like and comes with from when i got mine.

mitsubishiparts.net is bruce titus auto group

that picture is from mitsubishiparts.net website

the boxes definitely hike up shipping costs and honestly offer little protection so repackaging them in a good amount of bubble wrap is a good move

it is wicked white as that is the only color that mitsubishi offers them to the US in

as far as I know the tow hook cover does come with it...that's the only thing that doesn't make sense

who is the person you are buying it from a member or vendor or third party? that part doesn't make sense to me

chaoticchoax: russell from bruce titus auto group is the guy im getting all the information from. he works at the mitusbishi dealership there.

rockman: thanks for the pictures, it was really informative. the place i called told me it will come in the bubble wrap in the picture u showed but without the Mitsubishi jdm box but instead in a generic box.

russell told me the tow hook covers come separately and that most people just include it when they ship it.

They're a reputable dealership here in the NW. Hopefully that aides in your decision . I might even give them a call for a a jdm rear after reading this post.

for what it's worth I have bought numerous items directly from Russell and mitsubishiparts.net and have nothing but great things to say about them! I got mine from Driveline because Russell doesn't stock GG bumpers.

My vote of confidence is in russell. I have driven down there many a times for parts and he definitly hooks up the dealer pricing! (as in a lot cheaper than other dealers or vendors here on the forums)
Now I'm thinking of grabbing one from him and driving down to pick it up!

I stand by Russel's rep. I've ordered well over 6+ orders from them and have had friends order from them. It might be that the tow hook cover normally comes seperate however when you purchase it from another shop they include it regardless. I mean you're buying from a dealership here not a performance shop, when you order something from a dealership you ahve to specify all the parts you want, and cannot expect it to come as a whole.

save 200 and go with that one you originally were gonna get. a tow hook cover and a box isnt worth 100 nevermind 200 dollars.

Ha ha! I just checked their website and I called Russell, he has one left and I'm conveniently driving down there today to drop my car off at English racing so I'm going to swoop up the last one he has!
465 plus tax picked up is a steal for authentic. He said it ahs all the parts and what not just no tow hook cover.

Nice
I will try to update on how it looks when I get it.
