picture of my bushur racing filter need help

I just finished installing the buschur racing air filter kit for the evo and I was wondering where you guys installed your L shape mount for the filter. I had one on but after a test drive it became loose so i decided to take it off and let it rest in the bay without one. heres a picture of how it sits right now, thanks in advance.

i had mounted mine where the OEM boost controller BCS is bolted onto the chassis, and i even kept the BCS instaled together with the L braket.

your maf should be tilted where the flat part is on the top where it plugs into the harness. The L-bracket should be connected to one of the bottom bolts on the maf and to the bolt the held the stock bcs as stated above. From what I have hear if you just left it loose without the bracket you can cause false knock from it bouncing around.

Are all the intakes supposed to have a support on them? Because all the ones I see locally sure dont.

Maybe its for the stock intake tube only?? I know mine didnt ever have an L bracket, but I have the BR intake pipe. The stock intake tube is floppy and sags, maybe that bracket keeps it off of something and must support it.

you should rotate ur maf so that the sensor is on the top. also u need to modify that bracket to fit.it will go on the bottom rear air filter adapter bolt and then to a bolt hole that was used to mount the stock air box on the top of the frame rail.

i remember when i installed mine it was a pain to fit but you just gotta move it around and figure it out your MAF sensor should be tilted up so u can see the top of it
