Did you recover it? Sorry to hear this. Also just wondering and I know it sounds newbish of me does th insurance company pay you off it your car is stolen?

 

OMG.. If that ever happens to me I might go town to town with a shotgun or something.. I'd go crazy.. love Evo's to much.. sorry to hear that!

 

Yea I had comprehensive on it, so insurance will cover it. I only had the car for 3 months, so I still owe a good amount on it . Hopefully they'll get back to me next week on how much they can give me. In the meantime, I picked up a $600 integra with 206k miles lol.

 

+1 on having a garage, have had this happen to me and it's not fun. Will never live somewhere without a garage again.

Yea it actually runs pretty good! Good ol' b18a1! lol. It has i/h/e some aftermarket clutch and flywheel, short shifter, vtec ecu (he didn't know which one lol), some ****ty coilovers that are totally dead lol

Burns a lil oil, trans grinds if I try to beat on it, needs an alignment and camber fixed real bad, car had 2 14" steelies and 2 15" integra gs wheels. The car also has 4 different brands of tires (2 of which are bald from the camber) and needs all the cv boots replaced lol. Also has pretty much no interior. But overall, 206k miles and for $600, its a champ!

 

Too bad you didnt have GAP Hope you get all money back if not too bad sorry to hear!

Damn, I just moved out of Palacrime last year.... Even though my parking lot was pretty tucked away my brand new IX was broken into for my radar detector a month after I got it on the coldest night of the year at 6pm ~20 min after I parked it

Luckily nothing else happened after that. This kind of stuff really makes me want to go vigilante.

Its pretty surprising for the community, but the northeast side of town isn't great and times are hard....
