If pics had to be new, then we better start all over again.. We can look back and see that 70% of the pics posted are old and weren't shot on demand, including all of mine. The OP also used to have in the rules that it could be a car you used to own. It also stated that it had to be your Evo (or previously owned), but no more.. The rules need to stop changing.

And food for thought, if the pics need to be on demand; then the requests need be more realistic.

+1, I didn't know it had to be a new pic. All of the ones of my red evo are old ones since I sold it.

 

+1 i think to keep the ball rolling, we should incorporate the term "reasonably new", as in you drove it within the past couple of years, and for some odd reason you have a pretty baller pic of your evo in that excact situation. i say we do it

Anyone? I have no friends with red Evo's They are all far away.

 

This game is starting to get kinda stupid. People have been doing the request, but because one person does the pic a little better it goes to him or because the pic wasnt taken right then it wont count? it kinda seems like the game has gone to rthe "cool kids" and if you dont "fit in" with them then your pic gets rejected! I think if a pic is questionable then it should be up only to the requester can say yes or no, not someone who is trying to fullfull the request! case in point: MIGS647 posted a pic of his car on a lift and then MTSEVOVII posted one of his on a lift and said that MIGS647's didnt count because he didnt think it fullfilled the request good enough. so MikePL should have gave the or the on rather MIGS647 acctually fullfilled the request before the game went on, not MTSEVOVII taking it on himself to discide if it was a good enough pic. also if the request is to jump over your car then someone needs to jump over their car to fullfill the request or the time needs to expire. there is a set time that everyone has to fullfll the request and if that time hasnt gone by then stop making people change the request! just because someone doesnt like the request doesnt mean it has to be changed! This is supposed to be fun but its becoming not fun real quick!

 

I like the timer idea. If no one can do it in 24-48 hours (is that reasonable???) then the last person who got it needs to pick something else or change it. I was planning on if no one could jump over their car (by pulling up next to something to jump off of) I was going to accept jumping higher than the car. I also like the / idea, but the only problem is if the last person who got it may take off for a while and not be able to answer right away. That'd leave us all hanging. Thoughts anyone?

 

^agree with that, so if thats the case then the 24 or 48 hours rule can be used. also i do think the 1 week rule ( as was listed in the 1st rules on page 1) is a long time and should be adjusted.

 

also if the requester doesnt give the or within the 24 hours then the pic is automatically accepted! Just my thoughts!

 

24 hours is reasonable and still a short enough period to keep us all interested. If you can't easily hop in your car and go get the picture (or hop in your iphoto and find it)... then the request may be too difficult.

Maybe if a request can't be met and a new request is posted... someone can still get extra credit if they do get it later on... like the twins!

I think we are doing a fine job! It's a new game and sometimes you have to figure out what works and what doesn't, right?
