Most-Wanted's IX Build Part "DEUX"
Most-Wanted's IX Build Part "DEUX"
Well I'm back after taking a small leave of absence
I needed to prepare to bring our son Austin into the World and make sure he got a good head start on life. Now that I am comfortable with being a Dad and he is doing awesome I can relax and play a little. People keep asking me whats next, so I figured I'd document it like last time. It wont be quite as exciting I'm afraid because I have decided to take a different approach this time around. No intentions of setting records on this build. Just a very mean daily street car that will hold it's own on the road course and drag strip. Nothing will be over the top but it will look amazing and will perform as expected. It will be a build everyone can relate too. The same people will be involved for the most part but will be a much slower pace. I want to truly enjoy the car for what it was intended and take my time. No cages, no parachutes, no lexan. I dont ever want to hear the word gutted tin can again
A few hints as to the approach are 93 octane, Lambo colors, Forced Performance, Buschur, and AWDMOTORSPORTS. Thats all ya get
I am so excited I cant sleep. I pick the car up tomorrow in Tennessee
This will be evo number 5
LOL... I always try new things and come right back to the evo. Thats why I bought the nicest one I could find. I want to keep this car long term. Its a 2006 IX TB MR/SE with only 22k miles. It has mild mods but they will be removed for the path I am very confident in... Here is the link to the evo. I even bought a new SLR camera for some great photoshoots. I will also be running a GO PRO HD video camera for track events. It is good to be back...

Great looking car brian, glad to see you found something new. Look forward to updates, lambo colors sound exciting.
Beautiful looking family you have there. He's growing like a weed!

Congrats on the new Evo! I know this will be a totaly different and new adventure for you once again. I have followed all your previous reocrds and builds, you sure know how to get things done!
Welcome back I am excited to see what your New Evo will be since it will be a more practical all around car
I will miss your old one tho still or at least your last one you had before this one.
Glade you took care of family first

Lambo colors eh? So I am guessing you are going to paint the exterior pearl metallic green? Hahaha
I can just picture it now.
Good luck with the car. I hope it turns out the way you want it.

Thanks guys I am super excited to be back and start something new. I really missed the evo stuff but had to do what was right at the time. I just wanted to be prepared for the worst case scenario. Thanks for all the kind comments on everything including the wife and Austin. I'm very proud of both of them. She did an amazing job and he is growing up FASSSST for sure. Its crazy to see how fast he is learning stuff. Last night I put him to bed and turned all the lights off. 10 minutes later I see lights coming from his room. I'm like WTF. Run in there and he somehow found the remote to the TV and turned it on. When I got in there he laughed at me
The kid is 8 mo old and in a crib-LOL... As for Andreia, doing great and bounced right back. So daddy is happy too
As for the car. ONLY Lambo color accents. No color swaps. TB it is.... I was digging through my evo boxes last night and found all kinds of great stuff. I was like a kid in a candy store
It will definitely be an evo that is practical and drivable. No looking for E85 stations or anything like that... I hope not to disappoint but I think it is a build people will appreciate a little more than an all out drag car. I miss Lana but really enjoyed the road course and have a new outlook on this stuff. The goal is to hang with the GT3's and then drive home with the wife and munchkin
