Thanks guys. Just got home after a 24 hour day and few hours sleep and then another 4 hours Drive time was 12 hours The car has some issues but I will remedy them quickly. The car is already on jack stands ready for tear down I lost the SE lip on the way home due to a tree on the highway, manifold gasket at the head is so badly blown out the car wont even boost over 5 psi without stumbling. And one bent rim made for a very long trip home. The guy just didnt know much about these cars. I need to rewire all the defi's and the list goes on. It will be fun. The interior looks like no one ever sat in it.... Advan RS's are sold and tomorrow or tonight I will start working on "Selena"

Yeah that pic makes me smile every time I see it. He is awesome. Not sure on the trans. I loved my Shep 5 speed so much I am guessing I will do the swap. Before I do anything I will track it and see how it feels. So far, not a fan.

Badlooser- Yeah, kind of funny.... Black is hard to keep clean but will look damn sexy with what I want to do... I'll upload trip pics later. I didnt bring my good camera because of all the traveling and airplanes I had to ride on So phone pics it is...

Besides the rough ride home I truly love the evo. It is so amazing to be back in one and with A/C, power steering, etc LOL... Cant wait to get all the parts swapped and tuned... Gonna be fun.

SUP BOSS!!!! couple question if you dont mind

1. Sounds like your typical evo looked damn good in the pics then you go to see it and crank it and problems arise

2. cant boost over 5psi LOL open highway driving must of been terrible

3. Are you planning on staying with stock body completely?

4. Why not keep the 6speed as i heard shep is now working on a shep 6speed tranny why not try that out be different i always say

5. So since your building a all around preformer like myself does that mean your going 2.3 finally and we can go crusing together once its done

1. Yeah he definitely down played everything and conveniently forgot to mention a few things like a bent rim. I caught it but I had already invested in plane tickets and was in tennessee. No choice but to deal with it. I got home and was so pissed and called him up and said he owed me a rim. He said no problem so no hard feelings. The rest I can handle. The car is already apart in the garage. Also already talked with Mike at AWDMOTORSPORTS and told him what I needed so he is working on it for me.

2. Yeah, the hills in Tennessee were a killer.

3. Completely stock body. Like I mentioned, I want this to be a build everyone can relate to and not many want conversions or wide body kits. Standard 35mm offset wheels etc.

4. I honestly havent talked with Shep or checked into it yet. I didnt know he was doing the 6 speed. I honestly dont like the 6 speed so far but I really havent had a chance to run through the gears either. One thing that bothers me is it seems 5 and 6 are very close to 3-4 in the gate. I would rather buy a 5 speed and have it done by Shep and avoid the down time anyways. My Shep ultimate ratio never skipped a beat either. That will be down the road anyways. I want to get the turbo on and do the mods and go from there. I have already pulled off the exhaust, intake piping, I/C piping etc. All Buschur stuff will be used of course

5. This car will retain stock block. Again a build everyone can duplicate with ease. No E85, C16, No high boost, NOTHING. I am shotting to have everything done in a few weeks and make it to a track event at PBIR. Lots to be done though... And of course we can go cruise and hang out. Thats what I'm building it for.

The exhaust manifold probably had that crappy silver gasket that turns to powder after 6 months or so. Either way you are fixing the problems and continuing on.
