Weightless white on TEINS... *pics*
ahh.. thanks for the comments.
here are the details:
tein basic dampers - ride height adjustable only
cost: 890 msrp. i got em for 760 brand new.
installation: i paid 150. (no time to do em myself).
camber: slight negative (getting alignment tomorrow)
alignment: very straight still.. only issue is with camber. ^^^
ride: a bit bumpier than stock. you will definitely notice when you are on rough roads.. but on smooth roads its like butter! Took me about 2-3 days to get used to, but now i wouldn't have it any other way! turns like its on rails!
clearance issues: put about 350 miles on it since the teins.. no scrapes at all. (need to take driveways / speedbumps angled though). springs are very stiff.. no bottoming out at high speeds.
looks: much more aggressive
drop: about 3/4 finger gap in between wheels and fender wells. (at first they wanted to put a 3 finger clearance in the back, so when i had passengers, it wouldnt rub. BUT they put 3 people back there, and the springs were so stiff the car didn't move. so they went with a 3/4 finger gap.)
overall:
Hope this helps!

Definitely looks sharp! We sell Tein Basics for $750. That's scandalous for coilovers. I'm used to paying $1500-1600. I remember you used not to be able to find anything for less than $1300.

The Teins will break in and sit slightly lower and also give more in jounce and rebound over time so you will want to raise them up slightly if you do putm 3 passengers in them in the future.
