So 2ID does their own thing. I thought the Cav was the only one who did that. There is the Army, then there is 1st Cav. I go to Drill soon, so I will be glad to get out of this place. Whats funny is I will be fresh on the trail, but will be the Senior Drill Instructor.

 

I think I'd take working at embassies and civilian clothes TDYs over sweating my *** off in an IBA. Don't you ****ing lie to me either... you would too.

 

I would take a sham job any day lol. I did my time lol. But for now, I am enjoying my three months con leave lol.

 

Everyone's unit does their own thing LMAO. Thin that sucks is 2ID is so far separated from the rest of the Army that we kinda got no choice. We'd be the only assclowns working DURING a typhoon (like we just did during typhoon Kompasu).

 

Nah I know, I just give you Navy guys **** cause I did a year down in Guantanamo Bay, and some of the things I saw were...we'll say special.

I feel ya man. We do some dumb stuff in the Cav as well. Which is why I need to leave this place.

 

You do know you will probably lose a rank coming to the Army right? But I know it is so much easier to get promoted in the Army then the Air Force. My brother in law is in the Air Force, and is an E5. He passed the test, but didnt make points and now has to wait a year before he gets to try again. I couldnt deal with that crap. I would be all over ACCP and College.

 

 

i kinda would.. you know i love driving and pounding dirt tho... i dont like having desk jobs... would take the regular clothes anyday tho lol.
