You should have a different lip that him if he is still running that VIII bumper as they dont make the ralliart lip for the VIIIs

Wheels are nice though. I have always loved those things. They look pretty similar to what i just picked up

Picks will be coming soon. Just waiting on the wheels to come in so i can get them cleaned up and mounted.

I'll post pics once i get by engine back together... Nice idea for a thread.

Those of you in the military that need anything as far as parts go, dont hesitate to ask. We are cheap already, and for our fellow military folks, we go even lower

I swapped because I like the look of the VIII bumper due to the bigger opening. I plan on chopping the nose, color matching and molding the lip. I just got tired of my bumper with Voltex Canards and didnt want to deal with patching the holes and repainting just yet. I like the way it looks better now.
And for some reason, even though we have the same exact wheels, why do yours look so much better then mine lol. Seeing them on your car looks awesome. I get tired of seeing them on my car lol.

Good call on making this thread. Seems that deployment money has gotten us a few very nice cars.

Hey Freddie.....get a JDM rear on that car of yours.....it will set it off very well.

Oh and I finally got the 1450's running well. The car put down 481hp on VD running e85 and 27psi. I know it has more in it but I didn't have time to push the boost any more. (pre training for deployment). Maybe in a year when I get home....I think I can get 500whp on the stock bottom end and oh say 33psi....he he he.

I can't stand the JDM rears for some reason, I don't know what it is... Maybe a JDM 7/8 rear though...

Yeah those 1450s are a bear to get dialed in... I kinda got lucky with my car and the scaling and latencies I had were pretty much dead on.

480 aint nothing to bat an eye to, but I will agree once you return and crank the boost up a bit more (30psi+) you will be over 500hp!

I almost got a new set of cams (AWD 272s) a few weeks back but couldn't bring myself to commit to spending any more money. I would have had to get springs/retainers/seats, and a double pumper as well... a little more than I wanted to spend and wanted to put the stock block through!

Good thread for sure..

Appauldd- that's pretty funny how we both left our cars knowing we have more to gain with some more fine tuning .. Me 370whp to 400whp and you 480whp to 500+whp..

I look forward to getting back to my family, friends, and of course the Evo!!!
