Installed a set of aluminum racing pedals from AutoVation today.
Here are the contents of the kit:
And here it is installed:
A few notes:

A few notes:
- The pedals could have used a bit more sandblasting (or whatever it is they do to apply the finish) because machining marks are still fairly visible, at least close-up.
- I didn't have to remove the dash cover 'cuz my cordless drill was able to get in at the right angle if I pushed in the (clutch, brake) pedal... but it would have been easier had I removed the dash cover to give myself more room to work.
- Positioning the brake and clutch pedals was a bit tricky because the screw holes are fairly close to the pedal edge. I used a Dremel tool with an "etching" bit to create a small hole to guide drilling.
- The lowest screw on the gas pedal was too long--when screwed through the existing plastic pedal it pushed up against the metal pedal bar underneath and would not seat all the way. I used my Dremel cutting disk to cut the screw shorter.
- I used epoxy to glue down the gas and dead pedals, and used epoxy (rather than threadlocker) to seal the screws going into the plastic.
- The aluminum scratches rather easily. I'm not particularly concerned as I bought the kit mainly to facilitate heel/toe, less so for the looks.
- The kit goes for $104 at the AutoVation.net website; $79 for the polished finish. I paid $69 on Ebay before the pedals became generally available through the website, so you may want to check there first. (Do a search on "lancer OZ pedals".)

IMO it's better to have to drill than have some flimsy pedal cover that "clips" on. Yeah, if you change pedals and the new one requires a different pattern then it kinda sucks--and if the new holes are too close to the old ones you are slightly screwed.
The way I like to think about it, is that drilling takes off weight.
Anyway you remove the rubber pedal covers from the pedals that you drill (clutch and brake), so if you want to put it back to stock you put the covers back on and you'll never know the holes were there.

yes i have the same pedals , i love them very grippy . I hate the clip on pedals, always goota adjust or cut holes in your carpet from the clutch pedal. These pedals where very well made IMO.
