from exact experience my evo 8 came with 19x9 racing hart jline on mine 235 35 19 on s techs...very harsh ride to the point i popped two tires and rubbed my inner fenders away looked great, ride was horrible, go wiith 18's and a side wall trust me...

 

I've just ordered stance coils to change the game a bit and it looks like the reason u killed ur inners are that u were running a 35 series tire with 19s - too tall. I'm running 30 series which is 25.4 dia just like the stock size tires

 

which stance coilovers did you go with?

riding on 19's with a 30 series tire wall would be bad bad times IMO haha
