Red/Black Evo

2006 IX MR, aftermarket bumpers and wide-body fenders, custom paint job, black rims with red stripe. What do you all think?

looks pretty good, may i ask did you have problems lining every thing up? looks like some gaps and such in there. Haven't seen too many widebodies around. I know it is usually alot of work on other cars to make them blend in.

Yeah it wasn't too easy. The front bumper barely fit lol, it had to get heated and bent here and there to get the right shape. The rest wasn't as bad but still required some work. It's never perfect with aftermarket body parts

It's not too late to get some factory parts and fix the car.

Restore it back to factory parts. It looks great from factory already.

This would have looked alot better if you would have bought quality aero, at least the paint looks decent.

IIRC, the OP bought a salvaged car and tried bring it back to life. Obviously, things didn't work out like he hoped and I think that he understands that his car didn't gain any real value as it stands. He obviously put a lot of work and effort into the project. If folks have spare RR body parts, why not shoot the OP a note and offer him a way out. Perhaps we, as a community, can lend him a hand.

At least someone understands! lol. thanks man. Yeah I put a hecka lot of effort into this car, i did the best i could. Still needs some love of course. And i fully understand that this look doesn't go far among the Evo community, and most of you have the "stock or nothing at all" mindset, its like ppl arent allowed to have their own taste or something, but overall people actually love it. Well teenagers mostly, I cant say the same for older ppl lol. All my friends and all highschool girls go nuts over it haha. But i agree with most of you, if I could do it all over again, I would go with stock body, except maybe that rear bumper, I love it.
