Yellow fog lights... Pretty dope.
Have the same set on my Evo 8 for the last year. I got them for snow driving. Works a million times better in snowing conditions then the OEM bulbs.
I was actually surprised...
Planning on getting a set for the RA as well

3k work a ton better in rain/snow over OE bulbs.

I have the Nokya 2500K (K for Kelvin, not Thousand) and I got them for utility, not for show. The yellow heat range doesn't refract as much light (ie, glare back at you) as the blue heat range, which aids visibility. They're awesome for cutting through rain, fog, and snow.
I found the passenger side much harder to install than the driver's side. Still, it only took me 15 mins.

I had to switch to a different bulb and harness when I got the JDM housings so I went yellow as well and it looks sweet. Now I just need to find an amber bulb for the parking light that looks clear or chrome when unlit.
So far no issues with these at all. As long as you are careful with install and do not touch the bulbs you should not have any issues. Install on Shawna's car took about 4 minutes and it is one of the best mods we have done to date.

i installed mine last week as well. took maybe 2 minutes in the dark. bought my nokya's on ebay for less than $20 shipped.
i only wish i could use the fogs without the low beams for those darker mornings without having to tear apart the electrical.
