My version of HDRing
My version of HDRing
I wasn't a fan of HDR, maybe that's because I never really gave it a good tried. After messing around, here's what I came up with. Q&C is welcome

the EVO of course is the better looking of the too. How much PP did you do on the photos? Photoshop or a straight HDR Program. Not to shabby. The Suby looks to over done though.
Photoshop, lightroom, and HDR combine. I agreed, the Subi was over done between the two. I double the streng on it more vs the evo. Being silver the Subi looked too plain after the same preset that was applied with the evo. So I bump it up a bit. So far I'm pleased with the results. Can't wait for the rain to fade away during this time of year here in the pacific northwest. I'll keep you guys posted with more goodies.
HDR isn't meant to be used as an effect. It's meant to be used as making the picture look MORE realistic and make the dynamic range (HDR) higher. It gives greater exposure to the shadows and less exposure to light and is supposed to look more like your eyes REALLY see it. But if people want to use it as an "effect", more power to them
