Is it a good thing to get the underbody steamed or cleaned once in a while?

I like to keep my underbody clean so that I can stay on top of leaks and stuff. (Ido this with all my cars)

The easiest way for me is to use the garden hose

Just spray it untill its soaked, give it a good foaming of Simple Green automotive formula and viola!

Works great on a cold engine as well!

 

Do you lift your car?

 

No. I just use the slope of my driveway. Half on the curb, ya know?

The Simple Green shoots far enough that you can get away with it, no crawling under the car. It breaks down road grime enough that the hose pressure will wash it away.
