Hey Guys!

I know its kind of old, but I just came across these pictures and thought i'd share them with all of you since the SSE evo 8 is undoubtedly one of the fastest time attack cars in the world. These pictures are from the 2010 Super Lap Battle Finals at the world famous Buttonwillow Raceway. Former Formula Atlantic team, Sierra Sierra Enterprises and their Evo 8 "Christina" set the new overall record with the hands of David Empringham at the wheel. The previous record of 1.43.523 was held for 3 years by the infamous HKS CT230R till SSE came in this past year and finally took the record with a blistering time of 1.41.046! And ofcourse Christina was outfitted with a new pair of kicks before the new record was set Enjoy!

Does this mean the HKS car will be headed back to our shores? Didn't they say they wouldn't be back until their record was broken?

 

Is that the stock quarter panels? I can tell the fronts are carbon fenders, but the back doesn't even look like a widebody. I read about this in Modified, congrats on the new record! 2 seconds off the old one is a HUGE accomplishment!

All you guys do is wheels and you didn't even post the specs???

I'm sure I speak for a lot of us when I ask what specs the wheels and tires are? Impressive fit under the stock quarters!

 

Sorry about that, the ce28's used on this car are 18x10.5 +22. As far as tire sizing goes, I believe it is a 295/30/18 Hankook C91 compound semi slick.
