Turbo-Specific Trunk Badges

I came across this site and thought some people might like the idea of calling out their turbo by name on their trunk.

Thanks for finding this site. I've been tossing some ideas around in my head about an emblem, and it looks like this will work nicely.

Its nice, but could be an advertisement to thieves giving them more a reason to steal your car.

A 30k+ car is not really worth stealing, but the $1,100 dollar turbo brings it over the top? I don't think we will see too big of a mass-theft phase after this badge is used

exactly, i live in south florida and as much as i would love to have a ARC intercooler, factory wing, and the name of my turbo on the back of my car. there are way to many thieves running around and flashy **** attracts them.

If you live in an area where you have to make your car look slower than stock for fear of theft... then you can safely ignore this thread.

For the other 95% of us who enjoy exterior mods, please chime in

To be honest it's kind of a cheesy idea to me.

I dont mind it. I think it just needs a little bit more flare. Possibly putting the "RED" or "3586" in a different font, or something of that nature. Does that make sense to anyone else besides me? lol

parts bro!

a modded car makes more money for thieves than the car itself. same reason why $2k hondas get stolen - for the parts

The same can be said for any exterior mod. If you drive around on aftermarket rims, gauges on your A-pillar, titanium tip exhaust, carbon parts everywhere... adding a badge doesn't all of a sudden make the car worth stealing.

In fact, the would-be thief would actually have to know enough about Evo's to even know what an "HTA3586" even was. Whereas it's pretty obvious to any would-be thief what a carbon fiber hood is or what 18" BBS rims are.

I would argue that you're more likely to get robbed driving around with gauges on your A-pillar than with an HTA3586 badge.
